Major Injury Collision on Highway 9 Thursday
Ben Lomond, CA (June 24, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on State Route 9 Thursday, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a solo-vehicle veered off the roadway while traveling on Highway 9 in Ben Lomond. Near the 10385 black of the freeway, a minivan crashed into a telephone pole and drove down the ditch. The force from the impact caused the telephone pole to fall down.
Shortly after 12:40 a.m., emergency teams arrived at he location and found the minivan engulfed in flames. Rescue teams reportedly pulled out at least one person from the fiery wreckage.

The CHP dispatch mentioned the victim sustained major injuries as a result of the incident. Pending confirmation, the name of the patient remained undisclosed.
Detectives continue to investigate at this time the precise cause of the car accident in Ben Lomond.
