Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Ben Lomond Crash at Highway 9 and Scenic Way
BEN LOMOND, CA (September 2, 2022) – A crash left a motorcyclist seriously injured at Highway 9 and Scenic Way in Ben Lomond.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on August 23. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:03 p.m.
The incident happened when the rider of a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle and a silver sedan collided in Ben Lomond. For an unknown reason, the two crashed on Highway 9 at the intersection with Scenic Way.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Highlands County Park. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Highway 9 and Scenic Way to shut down after the incident.
The cause of the Ben Lomond crash is still under investigation.
