Fatal Head-On Collision at Ranchero Road and Tropicana Rose Avenue
Hesperia, CA (March 29, 2022) – Bengamin Garcia, a 41-year-old man, died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Ranchero Road and Tropicana Rose Avenue.
According to the Daily Press, two vehicles collided head-on at the intersection in Hesperia. Preliminary investigation revealed Garcia was behind the wheel of a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 traveling west on Ranchero Road. At about the same time, a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder SUV was driving east on Ranchero Road. The article published online the Nissan veered into the opposite lane for an unknown reason, Garcia attempted to swerve to avoid collision but ended up crashing into the wrong-way vehicle.
The horrible crash took place on March 26, Saturday, at about 12:44 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the site, they found the driver of the Chevrolet trapped in the mangled car. Responding paramedics sadly pronounced the motorist dead at the scene. The Sheriff-Coroner’s Division later identified the deceased as Bengamin Garcia, of Hesperia.

Authorities added a 17-year-old passenger in the Chevrolet, and the 18-year-old man driving the Nissan both sustained injuries in the accident. Paramedics transported both patients to the hospital for further treatment.
Detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the fatal crash.
