Benjamin Brown, 28, Killed in Fillmore DUI Crash on Highway 126
FILLMORE (June 3, 2018) – A driver killed after a crash that was intentionally prompted by an alleged DUI motorist along Highway 126 last week has been identified as Benjamin Brown, according to NBC Los Angeles and KVTA.
Brown, a 28-year-old Oxnard resident, died after the traffic collision which occurred on Thursday May 31 at approximately 2:25 p.m.
As per the reports, Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said Brown was driving a compact sedan west on Highway 126 when he was rammed by a gray Honda sedan.
The compact sedan spun out into the eastbound lanes and was struck by a tractor-trailer. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies added that the operator of the truck and a passenger in the Honda were transported to a local hospital with injuries considered as non-life-threatening. Their names and condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Honda, 30-year-old Eduardo Robles, was believed to have intentionally caused the wreck and to have been under the influence at the time. The Fillmore man was booked on one count of murder and one count of attempted murder.
Robles is being held at the pre-trial detention facility in Ventura with a bail set at $700,000.
