Woman Hospitalized After Collision Near Ashby Avenue Wednesday
Berkeley, CA (November 24, 2021) – A bicycle rider suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Sacramento Street.
The CBS News reported a vehicle struck a female bicyclist was riding in the streets of Berkeley Wednesday afternoon. When the woman approached the area near Ashby Avenue, an oncoming vehicle struck her.
The collision took place at approximately 1:10 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the female cyclist pinned underneath the car. Rescue teams worked extensively to free the victim. After they extricated the woman, paramedics rushed her to the Highland Hospital in an effort to save her life.
