Motorcyclist Possibly Injured in Crash Near Ashby Avenue On-Ramp
BERKELEY (August 28, 2017) – At least one person was injured in a traffic collision on the Interstate 80 Freeway near Ashby Avenue on-ramp Monday morning.
According to the Mercury News, a motorcycle and an Audi traveling on the same unspecified direction collided on the interstate for still unknown reasons.
When medical personnel arrived at the crash site shortly after 6:20 a.m., they found one person who appeared hurt. The severity of injuries sustained by the victim were not immediately disclosed.

Primary reports mentioned the incident resulted in two left lanes of 80 Freeway blocked until at about 7:45 a.m. Authorities are currently investigating the collision and have not been able to say how the crash precisely took place.
This specific incident was the fourth traffic alert on Monday, among the non-related series of accidents on the Bay Bridge freeways.
