Vehicle Overturned Due to Major Collision
Berkeley, Calif. (July 12, 2023) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened Wednesday afternoon in Berkeley on the Interstate 80 Freeway, near the Gilman Street On-ramp.
The collision occurred about 2:04 p.m. on July 12th, near Gilman Street in Alameda County according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A white pickup truck and another unknown pickup truck collided on the I-80 resulting in lanes one and two being blocked off. Two more vehicles became involved in the accident with the semi truck. One of the vehicles became overturned. This whole collision led to a traffic hazard in lanes one through three.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash.
Meanwhile, tow trucks arrived on the scene to help remove the damaged vehicles and debris.
Investigators are working on the case to determine who is at fault for the accident on the Interstate 80 in Berkeley, California.
