Woman, 69, Seriously Injured in Crash at Sacramento and Lincoln
BERKELEY (January 5, 2019) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a traffic accident in the area of Sacramento and Lincoln streets Friday evening, according to NBC Bay Area.
The collision took place on January 4 at about 6:45 p.m.
As per the article, police said a 69-year-old Berkeley woman was crossing Sacramento Street at Lincoln Street when for an unknown reason she was struck by a vehicle.
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the pedestrian who suffered major injuries upon impact.

She was immediately transported to a local hospital, where she was listed in serious condition. The name of the victim was not disclosed.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the 69-year-old Piedmont man driving the car involved stopped after the crash and cooperated with the authorities.
Officers are still investigating what exactly caused the incident.
