Pedestrian Injured in Berkeley Crash Near Marin and Shattuck Avenues
BERKELEY, CA (December 14, 2021) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash near Marin and Shattuck avenues in Berkeley.
According to an article published by the Berkeley Side, the accident took place last week on Friday. Officers reported the collision at around 3:45 p.m.
The incident happened on December 10 when a vehicle struck an elderly pedestrian in the city of Berkeley. The driver going down on Marin Avenue near Shattuck Avenue hit the victim for an unknown reason.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the victim who ended up suffering from a leg injury as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Highland Hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party at this time.
Meanwhile, a witness described the motorist as impatient when the collision occurred. Police forced the area of Marin and Shattuck avenues to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the Berkeley pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
