Pedestrian Seriously Hurt in Car Accident at Henry and Rose Streets in Berkeley
BERKELEY, Calif. (Feb. 18, 2019) — A pedestrian suffered serious injuries Sunday night when they were struck by a vehicle near Gourmet Ghetto.
The collision was reported about 7:39 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17 at the intersection of Henry Street and Rose Street. The person hit suffered head trauma and was was unresponsive upon the arrival of police.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured pedestrian to Highland Hospital in Oakland.
Meanwhile, the driver stopped and cooperated with police.
Berkeley Police Department is heading up the investigation into the crash to determine fault.
