
Motorcyclist Killed in Wildomar Accident is ID’d
WILDOMAR, Calif. (May 30, 2024) — Bert Navarro, 38, died in a motorcycle versus car accident on Memorial Day at Grape Street and Olive Street in Wildomar.
Tragically, the Moreno Valley man riding a motorcycle and another vehicle were involved in the crash at around 2:38 p.m. on May 27, 2024, according to the Riverside County Sheriff. It happened at a four-way intersection controlled by stop signs in all directions. It’s unknown at this time what caused the accident.
The Riverside Sheriff’s Lake Elsinore Station responded to the Wildomar intersection and located the motorcyclist with major injuries.
Both deputies and later CalFire performed lifesaving measures on the victim. He was transported to a local hospital, but died from his injuries.
An investigation is underway by the Lake Elsinore Station’s Traffic Unit.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash cooperated with the investigation. Detectives did not state whether or not alcohol or drugs were a factor.
