Construction Worker Injured in Bethel Island Industrial Accident Monday
BETHEL ISLAND, Contra Costa County (October 11, 2018) – A construction worker was injured after an industrial accident on Willow Road Monday afternoon, according to East Bay Times and Concord Patch.
The incident was reported at approximately 4:45 p.m. in the 3900 block of Willow Road.
As per the reports, Division of Occupational Safety and Health said for an unknown reason a man was struck by a paving machine which was described as an oiler.

East Contra Costa Fire Protection District officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the victim with possible internal injuries.
The patient was again run over by backing up the machine to free him. He was immediately airlifted to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for treatment.
His name and condition at this time remained unknown. Meanwhile, the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
