Minor Injury Bicycle Accident Near Walmart Supercenter

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 10, 2023) — A bicycle rider was injured in an accident on Antelope Road and Roseville Road in Sacramento County.

The collision occurred at the Antelope intersection at around 8:05 a.m. on Oct. 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the bicyclist went down in the roadway in front of the Walmart Supercenter store

The driver pulled over and stopped after the bicycle accident and someone called 911 for paramedics.

The Sacramento Fire Department responded and went to the aid of the injured bicyclist. It appears the injuries were minor, but the person was transported to a hospital. Authorities did not mention the age or gender of the bicycle rider at this time.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the bicycle accident on Antelope Road.
