Bicyclist Suffers Minor Injuries in Car Crash in North Auburn

NORTH AUBURN, Calif. (June 4, 2024) — A driver struck a bicycle rider in a car accident at Grass Valley Highway and Bell Road in North Auburn.

The traffic collision occurred at around 2:13 p.m. on June 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a driver in a blue Ford Maverick struck the cyclist due to unknown circumstances at or near the intersection.

Police and Cal Fire firefighters and paramedics responded to determined the bicycle rider had minor injuries. The person was transported to a hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, investigators are piecing together what happened and will determine fault for the bicycle accident on Grass Valley Highway.
