Bicyclist Suffers Minor Injuries in Car Accident

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. (June 6, 2024) — A bicycle accident happened Thursday afternoon on Cathedral Oaks Road (SR-192) beneath State Route 154 in Santa Barbara County.

The vehicle versus bicycle accident occurred at around 12 p.m. on June 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a driver struck a bicyclist due to unknown circumstances.

Paramedics responded to help the injured rider, but the person is expected to survive.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the bicycle accident on Cathedral Oaks Road.
