Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Car Accident on Forty Mile Road

YUBA COUNTY, Calif., (Sept. 22, 2026) — A major injury traffic collision occurred early Tuesday morning involving a blue Lexus and a bicycle at Forty Mile Road and Rosser Road, just north of the Hard Rock Casino.

The incident was reported on Sept. 22nd at approximately 6:11 a.m., near the Livingston Concrete Service Inc. plant, the CHP report said. Responding units from the area were dispatched shortly after 6:14 a.m. and arrived at 6:25 a.m.

It’s unknown what led up to the collision between a blue Lexus sedan and a bicycle. The classification was a major injury traffic collision, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Emergency medical services were called to the scene, and the injured parties were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The identities of those involved, including the bicyclist, have not been disclosed at this time.

Authorities are urging any witnesses to come forward as the investigation continues. Anyone with information regarding the collision is encouraged to contact local law enforcement.
