Bicycle Rider Hit by Vehicle Transport Truck on PCH
MALIBU, Calif. (Oct. 28, 2022) — A major injury bicycle accident in Malibu on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) happened Thursday afternoon between Bonsall Drive and Heathercliff Road.
The collision occurred when a vehicle transport carrier truck hit the bicyclists due to unknown circumstances, according to the Los Angeles County Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station.
Sheriff’s deputies closed down the section of PCH in both directions between Bonsall and Heathercliff for roughly two hours to conduct its investigation.
The driver in the truck stopped and is cooperating with authorities.
Finally, the report does not mention the name, age or gender of the person riding the bike.
Police are investigating what led up to the Malibu pedestrian accident on PCH. Witnesses may contact the LA County Lost Hills station.
