Bicyclist Injured in Crash on Reese Road
FLORIN, Calif. (July 19, 2023) — A bicycle rider was involved in a car accident Wednesday in the southbound lanes of Reese Road, just north of Gerber Road in Florin.
The collision occurred around 7:36 a.m. on July 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
Police reported a driver in a silver Honda Civic struck the bicyclist due to unknown circumstances, the report said.
The bike rider and the car were both on the right shoulder after the collision. Paramedics responded to help the injured bicyclist who suffered a leg injury in the crash.
Meanwhile, the driver apparently went home or into a nearby residence after the crash.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the bicycle accident at Reese Road and Gerber Road.
