Woman Riding Bicycle Injured in Crash with AC Bus
BERKELEY HILLS, Calif. (May 9, 2024) — A woman riding a bicycle and an AC Transit bus were involved in a traffic accident Wednesday at Spruce Street and Regal Road in Berkeley Hills.
The collision occurred at around 5:30 p.m. at the Berkeley Hills intersection, according to the Berkeley Scaner.
Paramedics from the Berkeley Fire Department responded and rushed a woman in her 20s who was riding the bike to Highland Hospital. She was treated for a serious leg injury following the collision.
The woman was reportedly riding down a hill and when for unknown reasons she collided with a stopped AC Transit bus.
Investigators with the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office and Berkeley police are working to determine liability for the bicycle versus bus accident in Berkeley Hills.
