SACRAMENTO, Calif., (Sept. 3, 2026) — A crash involving an SUV and a bicyclist occurred early Thursday morning on Sunrise Boulevard in Rancho Cordova, resulting in minor injuries, according to reports from the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The incident took place on Sept. 3rd at approximately 1:18 a.m. at the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Trinity River Drive. Initial reports indicated a black Lincoln Navigator collided with a bicyclist. Emergency responders, including the Sacramento Fire Department, arrived promptly and assessed the scene.
