STOCKTON: Fatal Hit-and-run on Boeing Way Near Highway 99; Bicyclist Killed
STOCKTON, California — According to an article by Fox 40, a bicyclist died following a hit-and-run collision on Boeing Way Friday evening.
On March 17, a 43-year-old bicyclist was pronounced dead by officials after being hit by a red tractor trailer pulling a flatbed trailer near west Highway 99.
The suspect vehicle drove away before Stockton Police officers arrived around 9:04 p.m. at the scene, as per the article.
A search operation is ongoing to find the suspect described by authorities as being Middle Eastern, around 25 to 32 years old, 5 foot 9 inches, 220 pounds, and having a beard. Further, at the time of the hit-and-run crash the suspect wore a dark blue shirt, reflective vest, and denim shorts.
Due to coroners still working on notifying next of kin, the name of the deceased was undisclosed.
