Bicyclist Hospitalized After Hawthorne Car Accident
HAWTHORNE, Calif. (Oct. 9, 2018) – A bicyclist was critically injured Monday night when he was struck by a vehicle on Prairie Avenue in Hawthorne.
The collision was reported at 6:55 p.m. near 126th Street, the Hawthorne Police Department reports.
Paramedics rushed the injured bicyclist to a hospital, meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police temporarily closed down Prairie Avenue in both directions between El Segundo Boulevard and Northrup Avenue.

Police are piecing together evidence and will determine fault for this crash.
