OXNARD, Calif. (June 5, 2018) — A bicyclist was injured early Tuesday morning when he was struck by a driver believed to be working for Uber in the 400 block of Forest Park Boulevard, according to On Scene TV.
The collision was reported about 1:19 a.m. this morning. The bicyclist rode through the intersection when he was struck by the driver who stopped and cooperated with police. The driver was not arrested.
The injured man was transported to a hospital in unknown condition, the report said.
The collision remains under investigation by the Oxnard Police Department.

Police are investigating this collision to determine fault. At this time, we do not know whether the bicyclist or the driver had the right-of-way. Either way, a motorist is required under California law to yield to all pedestrians in the roadway.
