CORONA, California (May 3, 2016) – A female bicyclist was struck by a vehicle which sped off after collision on Estelle Street Tuesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 7:02 p.m.
Preliminary record stated that a bicyclist was traveling on the roadway when it was suddenly struck by an oncoming vehicle.
The reporting party claimed that the suspect’s vehicle seemed to have intentionally hit the female cyclist, as mentioned in the CHP log.
The hurt party was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment of sustained wounds of unknown severity.
The identity of the patient remained private with the authorities until families and friends have been respectively notified.
A hit and run call was raised after the suspect’s vehicle sped away from the scene.
The CHP log provided only limited facts on the incident since the gathering of information and investigation remained underway.
