Bicyclist Hurt in Hit-and-Run Collision on Whittier Blvd, East LA

EAST LOS ANGELES, Calif., (May 12, 2026) — A bicyclist suffered severe injuries in a hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles late Monday night in East Los Angeles. The incident occurred at approximately 10:34 p.m. on May 11th at the intersection of W Whittier Blvd and S Hillview Ave.

According to initial reports, the crash involved a white four-door sedan and a blue sedan, with the white sedan fleeing the scene. Three Hispanic males wearing white T-shirts were reportedly seen running from the white sedan. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a male bicyclist lying injured in the roadway. He sustained major head trauma, a significant laceration, and a broken left arm.

Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has information about the suspects or the white sedan to come forward. The vehicle may have visible damage. The incident remains under investigation by local law enforcement.
