Bicyclist Injured in Car Accident on Florence Avenue in Huntington Park

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 10, 2026) — A person riding a bicycle was injured early Monday morning in a car accident on East Florence Avenue at Salt Lake Avenue in the Huntington Park area of Los Angeles.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch log the incident occurred around 6:53 a.m. on August 10th, 2026 at the Huntington Park intersection.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene and located the injured cyclist and noted the person had complaints of pain. The Huntington Park Police Department was also on scene to make a report and investigate what happened.

Paramedics treated the injured rider on scene and an ambulance was there to transport the injured bicyclist, but there are no further details at this time.
