Bicyclist Jose Resendez Killed Rosemead Boulevard South El Monte
SOUTH EL MONTE, California (April 28, 2016) — Jose Resendez, 39, of South El Monte was killed Wednesday night when his bicycle was hit by a car at the intersection of Rosemead Boulevard and Rush Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash took place about 9:45 p.m. last night near Whittier Narrows Park. The female driver and her son who was a passenger in the car suffered injuries and were taken to a local hospital.
