Bicyclist Killed in Possible Hit-and-Run Crash in Lennox

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Jan. 11, 2024) – A man riding a bicycle died Wednesday night in a hit-and-run traffic accident at Hawthorne Boulevard and Lennox Boulevard in the Lennox area of Los Angeles.

The deadly crash occurred at around 11:41 p.m. on Jan. 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A driver in a red Dodge Ram pickup truck reportedly struck the victim and fled the scene. CHP officers responded and located the injured the victim described only as a man around 40 years old.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department sent paramedics to help the injured man, but he died at the scene shortly after their arrival.

Meanwhile, the CHP closed down Hawthorne Boulevard to conduct an investigation into the cause of the bicycle accident on Hawthorne Boulevard.
