Bicycle Rider Killed in Santa Ana Hit-and-run Crash
SANTA ANA, Calif. (Nov. 4, 2019) – A bicyclist was struck and killed early Monday morning in a hit-and-run crash on Newhope Street in Santa Ana.
The male bicycle rider was struck by the vehicle about 3 a.m. in the 300 block of South Newhope Street, the Santa Ana Police Department reported.
Police are investigating the crash and hoping to piece together evidence to determine the identiy of the suspect who fled. The Orange County Coroner has not released the name of the victim at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
