Bicyclist Hit by Car and Shot in Lennox
LENNOX, Los Angeles County (July 18, 2017) – A bicyclist was killed after being struck and shot near West 103rd Street and South Freeman Avenue early Tuesday, according to an article by ABC 7.
The victim was reportedly hit by an unknown vehicle about 12:35 a.m. in the 4200 block of the West 103rd Street. Authorities also determined that he was subsequently shot by two unidentified suspects.
The cyclist was taken to the hospital where he died. His name has not been yet released.
Meanwhile, witnesses said two male parties were seen fleeing the area on foot, heading westbound on West 103rd Street.
No further information has been provided by the police at this time as the investigation is still ongoing.
