FOLSOM, California (August 6, 2016) – A bicyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-and crush at Folsom-Auburn Road and Oak Avenue Parkway Friday afternoon, according to The Sacramento Bee.
The collision was reported about 1 p.m.
As per the article, Folsom police said the bicycle rider was struck by an unknown vehicle at the intersection. The cyclist sustained major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The name and condition of the victim at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. The report did not have a description of the suspect car.
