Bradley Proudfoot, 41, Hit by Two Vehicles in Santa Monica
SANTA MONICA, Calif. (Nov. 20, 2024) – A 41-year-old man identified as Bradley Proudfoot died early Sunday in a bicycle versus car accident on Lincoln Boulevard in Santa Monica.
Witnesses are being asked to contact police to help them determine fault for the crash around 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 17th, according to the Santa Monica Police Department.
The victim was riding his bicycle southbound in the 1800 block of Lincoln Boulevard when the first vehicle struck him and then a second vehicle. Unfortunately, he suffered major injuries and died at the scene, police said.
Bradley Proudfoot was identified as the crash victim by the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner.
The two drivers stopped and someone called 911 for help.
Police say the motorists are both cooperating with the traffic investigation and authorities do not suspect alcohol or drugs were factors.
