Bicyclist, SUV Crash at Walerga Road, Antelope Road in North Highlands

NORTH HIGHLANDS, Calif. (June 3, 2025) — A driver struck a bicyclist Tuesday afternoon in a crash on Walerga Road at Antelope Road in North Highlands.

The traffic accident occurred around 12 p.m. on June 3rd at the intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a driver in a black Mazda CX5 struck the cyclist in the southbound lanes of Walerga Road due to unknown circumstances.

The Sacramento Fire Department responded with an ambulance to help the injured rider, but it appears there were no serious injuries.
