Big Bear Head-on Crash on Highway 18
BIG BEAR, Calif. (Feb. 9, 2021) — A head-on crash was reported Tuesday on Highway 18 also known as Hilltop Boulevard.
Two vehicles collided about 8:40 a.m. on Feb. 9th near Keller Peak Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a white Chevrolet Trax and another white vehicle were involved. Although airbags deployed in both vehicles, it appears there were injuries involved and paramedics responded.
The CHP report stated the 49-year-old driver in the Chevrolet had injuries, but didn’t provide any further details. It’s unknown how many people were hurt in the collision at this time.
Tow trucks responded to remove the vehicles. Police are heading up an investigation into liability for the crash.
