BIG BEAR, California (Saturday, October 31, 2015) – The passenger in a black Honda Civic called in a collision with a red Jeep. The Jeep left the scene of the accident and continued on down the street for a few blocks to Spruce Lane. The Honda followed, the passenger copying down the Jeep’s license-plate number. The suspect then parked his Jeep and went inside a residence. He left the door wide open and was found inside the house sleeping on the couch.
One of the victims reported feeling pain in the right side of his neck.
The accident took place at about 5:52 p.m., according to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino. When police found the suspect’s car it was as had been reported, locked and parked at a residence on Spruce Lane. The accident took place a few blocks away on Maple Lane.
