BIG BEAR, California (August 28, 2015) — A suspected drunken driver fell out of their vehicle and was injured Friday morning in the 2200 block of East Chaparral Court, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The incident was reported about 6:54 a.m. this morning when the driver of a 2004 Chevrolet van somehow fell out of the vehicle at the intersection of Chaparral and Willow Lane. Paramedics responded and transported the driver to a local hospital for treatment. Police did not disclose whether charges will be filed against the alleged DUI driver. The vehicle was towed from the scene of the incident.
“Drunken driving is a big problem in California as it accounts for roughly at third of all fatal crashes,” said Attorney James Johnson.
