UNION CITY (April 20, 2016)- A major injury crash initiated by a big rig driver was reported Wednesday morning on the Interstate 880 freeway, per the San Francisco Gate.
At 4:20 a.m., a semi-truck driver lost control for unknown reasons and plowed into the center divider barrier into oncoming traffic lanes.
At least three vehicles collided as a result triggering major injuries to at least two motorists.
The article confirmed that all southbound traffic lanes and the majority of northbound traffic lanes remained completely closed down for at least an hour.
More details will likely be released pending the investigation.
