Tracy Truck Accident Interstate 205 Freeway
TRACY, Calif. (Sept. 7, 2022) — A big rig truck jackknifed and hit a minivan on the Interstate 205 Freeway Wednesday morning near the West Grant Line Road on ramp.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in the westbound lanes about 6:39 a.m. on Sept. 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The semi-truck collided with the minivan in the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes of the freeway.
Paramedics responded to help those injured in the Tracy truck accident. At least one person suffered major injuries, but there are no further details. An ambulance transported the person or people to a hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, investigators with the CHP and Tracy Police Department are working to determine fault for the collision.
