Sushi Chef Binbin Zhuang Killed in Hit-and-run Bicycle Accident
STOCKTON, Calif. (Feb. 15, 2019) — Binbin Zhuang, 32, a local sushi chef who works for FujiSan Franchising Corp., was struck and killed Sunday while riding his bicycle at West March Lane and Precissi Lane.
The man was riding his Huffy Beach Cruiser to work at WinCo supermarket when he approached the intersection and was struck by two vehicles heading westbound on West March Lane, one of the drivers failed to stop.
The crash took place about 10 p.m. on Feb. 10th. One of the drivers stopped and the other fled the scene.
Paramedics responded to help Zhuang, but he died of his injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, police are searching for the suspect who fled without stopping to help the victim. The suspect will face felony hit-and-run charges once they are located.
