The collision took place at roughly 5:30 a.m. when a black and a white sedan heading in opposite directions collided with each other. Several parked cars were struck and so was a building.
The driver of the white sedan, a woman, was in shock and clearly injured after repeating multiple times that she could not feel her legs. Firefighters had to extricate her from the vehicle where she was then transported to a hospital with moderate injuries.
The driver of the black sedan was also confirmed to have sustained moderate injuries as well.
Riverside police officials have not released any information at this time regarding the specific cause of the collision.
