Blanca Guerrero, 76, Killed in La Puente Pedestrian Crash at Fairgrove and Hacienda
LA PUENTE, CA (May 12, 2023) – Blanca Guerrero was killed after a pedestrian crash at Fairgrove Avenue and Hacienda Boulevard in La Puente.
Family members identified the 76-year-old woman as the victim in the fatal accident which took place on Monday.
The incident happened when Blanca Arcelia Guerrero was crossing the intersection of Fairgrove Avenue and Hacienda Boulevard in La Puente.
Woman Hit by School Bus
For an unknown reason, a Hacienda La Puente Unified school bus struck her. The California Highway Patrol said the vehicle hit the elderly victim in a crosswalk.
The FOX 11 News and My News LA wrote that the collision occurred on May 8 at about 2:20 p.m. Blanca Guerrero died at the scene of the pedestrian accident.
Meanwhile, no one in the bus ended up injured following the incident. Officers forced the area of Fairgrove and Hacienda to shut down for a time after the collision.
The cause of the La Puente pedestrian crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information can call the CHP Baldwin Park Area at (626) 338-1164.
