Fatal Collision at Merced and Magnolia Avenue Wednesday
Shafter, CA (March 31, 2022) – On March 30, 50-year-old Blanca Esthela Rodriguez died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Merced and Magnolia Avenue.
The KGET News reported Rodriguez was behind the wheel of a vehicle traveling in the streets of northwest Shafter Wednesday. When the woman drove through the intersection at Merced and Magnolia, she collided with another car. Authorities continue to withhold the descriptions of the vehicles involved in the wreck pending confirmation.
Blanca Rodriguez Dies in Shafter Car Accident
When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found Rodriguez unconscious. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but she sadly succumbed to her injuries and passed away at the scene.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the other driver involved in the tragic incident.
Detectives stayed in the area to investigate the precise cause of the deadly crash at Merced and Magnolia in Shafter.
