BLOOMINGTON, California (April 23, 2015) –– Man, 34, riding a bicycle is killed in a car crash in the 11100 block of Cedar Avenue, just south of the Cedar Avenue Shopping Center, according to a press release by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
About 6:48 p.m., CHP officers rushed to the scene of the accident between Jurupa and Santa Ana avenues where they located a Hispanic male with traumatic injuries to his head and neck. Paramedics came to take him to a local hospital where he later died at 7:26 p.m.
Police say the rider allegedly drove into the path of a gray 2008 Infinity G37S whose driver was traveling southbound on Cedar Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol are heading up an investigation into the crash.
