
Bloomington crash 10 Freeway Cedar
1 Killed in Bloomington Crash on 10 Freeway Near Cedar Avenue
BLOOMINGTON, CA (October 2, 2022) – A car crash killed at least one person on the 10 Freeway near Cedar Avenue in Bloomington.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place early Sunday. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:06 a.m.
The incident happened when a white Chevrolet was driving recklessly on the eastbound 10 Freeway, east of Cedar Avenue, in Bloomington.
2 Cars Collide
CHP said in the process, the reckless driver struck a white sedan. One of the cars involved slammed into the center divider in the area.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found both vehicles engulfed in flames. They confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, officers forced the eastbound lanes of the 10 Freeway to shut down near Cedar following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Bloomington crash is still under investigation.
