Pedestrian Killed in Bloomington Crash at Cedar Avenue and 7th Street
BLOOMINGTON, CA (March 16, 2022) – A pedestrian was killed after a crash at Cedar Avenue and 7th Street in Bloomington.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the tragic accident on Tuesday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the collision at about 9:47 p.m.
The incident happened on March 15 when a truck hit a male pedestrian for an unknown reason in Bloomington. The vehicle hit him at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and 7th Street.

Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived at the scene near a cemetery. They found the victim lying on the ground as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the patient dead. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person. Officers forced the area of Cedar Avenue and 7th Street to shut down after the collision.
The cause of the fatal Bloomington pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
