Possible Hit-and-Run Crash on Christopher Columbus Transcontinental Highway Wednesday
Blythe, CA (August 25, 2021) – A car accident that occurred Wednesday morning on Interstate 10 resulted in injuries, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Our sources indicated at least two vehicles collided in the westbound side of I-10, also known as Christopher Columbus Transcontinental Highway.
The crash took place at Lovekin Boulevard in Blythe around 5:09 a.m.
Minor Injury Car Accident in Blythe, August 25
When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found a Chevrolet truck with significant damage. Paramedics at the scene checked the conditions of all the occupants in the Chevrolet. According to the CHP log, at least one person suffered minor injuries as a result of the wreck. The name of the victim and their age remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, the dispatch mentioned a party involved in the crash fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
