2 Seriously Injured in Blythe Accident at Arrowhead Boulevard and 11th Avenue
BLYTHE (March 24, 2018) – Two people were injured following a traffic collision early Saturday in the area of South Arrowhead Boulevard and West 11th Avenue.
According to a press release by the Riverside County Fire Department, an accident reportedly took place in the intersection at about 2:46 a.m. It remained unclear how many automobiles were involved in the crash.
First responders found one vehicle on fire after rolling down a nearby canal. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to the two injured parties found at the scene. As per the report, both individuals managed to free themselves from the wreckage.

Medical records indicated that the victims suffered moderate injuries as a result of the accident. Both patients were flown to area hospitals for treatment, officials said.
Firefighters from the Riverside County Department extinguished the fire at the location, and turned the incident over to the California Highway Patrol. At this time, CHP is the agency handling the investigation.
