2 Injured in Collision Near Callbox 1432
Blythe, CA (February 10, 2023) – A traffic crash that occurred on the Interstate 10 Freeway Friday, February 10, resulted in injuries, according to My News LA.
Earlier reports indicated a semi truck collided with another vehicle on I-10 near Callbox 1432. The make and model of the other automobile involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Major Traffic Crash on Interstate 10 in Blythe
Emergency crews responded to the crash site shortly after 4:10 p.m. When medical personnel arrived, they found at least two people suffering in moderate injuries. Because of the serious conditions of the victim, paramedics called an air ambulance to airlift the two patients to a hospital. Personal information on the victims remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Authorities mentioned approximately 200 gallons of fuel spilled after the crash. Staff from the Riverside County Environmental Health responded to the scene to assist.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the traffic accident happened on Interstate 10 in Blythe.
