Blythe: Deadly Car Accident on Highway 95

1 Killed in Collision Between 8th and 4th Avenue

Blythe, CA (May 10, 2023) – At least one person died following a traffic crash that occurred on State Route Highway 95, according to My News LA.

Earlier reports indicated two vehicles collided in the area between 8th and 4th Avenue in an unincorporated area of Riverside County north of Blythe.

Shortly after 8:30 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found a red Subaru and an unspecified vehicle both disabled at the crash site. Medical personnel later pronounced one person dead. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.

Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly car accident that happened on State Route Highway 95 in Blythe.
