Chain-Reaction Collision on Interstate 805 Freeway in Bonita
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 9, 2025) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Thursday afternoon on the southbound Interstate 805 Freeway, just north of H Street in Bonita.
The three-vehicle traffic accident involved a grey sedan, a white Chevrolet Suburban or Subaru SUV, and a minivan, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the vehicles collided in the slow lanes around 2:48 p.m. on Jan. 9th, 2025.
The SUV got caught in the middle of the chain-reaction crash and was pushed on top of one of the motorists.
Paramedics responded to help those who were injured, but there are no further details at this time.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the 805 Freeway in Bonita.
